Compared with the Ariya model, Nissan will significantly enhance the ternary lithium battery, shortening the fast charging time by 50% and increasing the energy density by 50%. Lithium iron phosphate batteries developed and produced in Japan will be put on the market and will cost 30% less than the Sakura EV model. New electric vehicles equipped with enhanced ternary lithium batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries and all-solid-state batteries will be launched in fiscal 2028.
