Please pay attention to recent car recall notices
1, Ford will recall some 2024 Mustang vehicles equipped with 2.3L engines in the United States
Reason for recall: Low-pressure fuel supply lines may be damaged or severed, causing fuel leaks. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as a hot engine or exhaust component, may increase the risk of fire. Additionally, fuel loss may cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Solution: Dealers will replace the low-pressure fuel supply line free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out on April 15, 2024.
2, Chrysler will recall some 2024 Dodge Hornet and Alfa Romeo Tonale vehicles in the United States
Reason for recall: The manufacturer information labels on these vehicles are missing tire rim and tire size information. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Missing rim and tire size information can result in incorrectly installed wheels, increasing the risk of a collision.
Solution: The dealer will apply the corrected label free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out on May 8, 2024.
3, Hyundai is recalling certain 2024 Genesis GV70 vehicles in the United States.
Reason for recall: Water can seep into the transmission control wiring harness, causing a short circuit and accidentally shifting the transmission from Park to Neutral. Unintentional shifting from Park to Neutral can cause the vehicle to roll over and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Solution: It is recommended that car owners turn off the ignition and use the emergency parking brake after parking. Dealers will inspect the transmission control harness and repair the connectors, or replace the harness and internal wiring, free of charge as needed. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 14, 2024.
4, Chrysler to recall some 2021-2022 Ram ProMaster vehicles in the U.S.
Reason for recall: These vehicle wiring harnesses may have poor connections, which may cause the left taillight and left turn signal to not operate. Therefore, these vehicles do not comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Related Equipment." A failed left turn signal may fail to notify other drivers that the vehicle is turning, and a failed left taillight may reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers. Both situations increase the risk of a crash.
Solution: Remedies are under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 3, 2024.
5, Chrysler is recalling certain 2018-2021 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles in the United States.
Reason for recall: The left and right side curtain air generators may rupture due to a manufacturing defect. A ruptured gas generator could cause sharp metal fragments to strike the occupants, resulting in injury or death.
Solution: Dealers will replace the air curtains on both sides free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 3, 2024.
6, Hyundai is recalling certain 2022-2024 IONIQ 5, 2023-2024 IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified" and Genesis GV80 "Electrified" vehicles in the United States.
Reason for recall: The integrated charge control unit (ICCU) in these vehicles may become damaged and stop charging the 12-volt battery, resulting in a loss of driving power. Loss of driving force increases the risk of a collision.
Solution: The dealer will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuses as necessary. In addition, dealers will update the ICCU software. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 14, 2024.
7, Kia Motors is recalling some EV6 vehicles built in the 2022-2024 model years in the United States.
Reason for recall: The Integrated Charge Control Unit (ICCU) may become damaged and stop charging the 12-volt battery, resulting in a loss of driving power. Loss of drive increases the risk of a collision.
Solution: The dealer will inspect and replace the ICCU and its fuses as necessary. In addition, dealers will update the ICCU software. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 29, 2024.

Reason for recall: Factory reset silences the Pedestrian Warning System (PWS) sound. If the PWS sound is muted, pedestrians may not be aware of approaching vehicles, increasing the risk of a collision. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 141, "Minimum Sound Requirements for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles."
Solution: Tesla has released a free over-the-air (OTA) software update with version number 2023.44.30.14. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 27, 2024.
9, Hyundai Motor Company is recalling certain 2018-2020 Genesis G80, 2017-2022 G90 and 2019-2022 G70 vehicles equipped with the 3.3-liter V6 turbocharged engine in the United States.
Reason for recall: The left turbocharger oil supply pipe may be aged and leaking oil. Oil leaks from hot engine parts increase the risk of an engine compartment fire.
Solution: Dealers will replace the left turbocharger oil supply pipe free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out on May 7, 2024.
10, Ford Motor Company is recalling some 2020 Explorer vehicles in the United States.
Reason for recall: The rearview camera may intermittently display a blank display or a distorted image due to a poor electrical connection. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 111, "Rear Visibility." Rearview cameras that display blank or distorted images can increase the risk of a crash by affecting the driver's view to the rear of the vehicle.
Solution: Dealers will replace the rearview camera free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out on April 8, 2024.
11, Ford Motor Company is recalling some 2023-2024 Bronco 4-door vehicles.
Reason for recall: When the child safety lock is in the "ON" position, the left rear door can be opened from inside the vehicle. A malfunctioning child safety lock may cause the rear door to open unexpectedly, potentially increasing the risk of injury.
Solution: Dealers will inspect child safety locks and replace rear door locks as needed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out on April 16, 2024.
12, Kia will recall some 2019-2020 K900 and 2018-2023 Stinger vehicles in the United States.
Reason for recall: The vehicles are equipped with a 3.3-liter turbo-petrol direct-injection engine. The left turbocharger oil supply line and hose assembly may deteriorate and leak oil. Oil leaks from hot engine parts can increase the risk of an engine compartment fire while driving.
Solution: Dealers will replace the left turbocharger oil supply pipe and hose assembly free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent out on April 26, 2024.
13, Nissan is recalling some 2023 Rogue vehicles in the United States.
Reason for recall: The driver's and front passenger's seat belt pretensioners may be manufactured incorrectly, which may cause the seat belt to not properly restrain the occupant. Therefore, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards No. 208, "Occupant Crash Protection," No. 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies," and No. 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorage Points." Improper occupant restraint increases the risk of injury in a crash.
Solution: Dealers will replace front seat belt assemblies as needed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 19, 2024.
