Tesla Started to Push OTA Version 2024.8.

Tesla has started to push out a new version of its car software, this time the OTA version is 2024.8, so owners can experience the "new car feeling" again.

According to the content of 2024.8, it is worth mentioning that it includes a new feature called "one-time charging limit" and "adaptive high beams" for the revised Model S, Model X, Model Y and Model 3 models in Europe. "Adaptive High Beams.

It's worth noting that Adaptive High Beam is already available on the upgraded Model 3, which was introduced last year. However, Adaptive High Beam is currently only available in Europe, and Tesla is working to expand it to more regions as soon as possible.

Regarding the opening and support of Adaptive High Beam in Europe, what does Tesla's opening of Adaptive High Beam do?

Simply put, it automatically adjusts to minimize glare on other drivers and cyclists, and by detecting other road users and selectively dimming individual pixels of the headlights, the high beams can stay on longer for better nighttime visibility. Owners can turn this feature on or off through the "Adaptive High Beam" option in the vehicle's light settings menu.

Another useful feature of this update is the "one-time charging limit". When going on a long trip, owners can increase the range by raising the charge limit. Tesla will provide the option of "one-time charging limit" when the charging limit is set higher than the daily recommended value. At the end of the trip, the vehicle will automatically return to the daily recommended charge limit.

I'll keep an eye out for feedback on how the new features are being used, but of course there's more to this OTA update than meets the eye.
