1, Incorrect air filter maintenance

Some friends always say, "Is the air filter dirty? If it's dirty, I'll blow it out and it'll be fine." It's actually not a good habit to blow it and keep using it.

Long-term use of the air filter will cause gas blockage, causing additional resistance to the engine's air intake, which will reduce the engine's air charge and engine power.

Generally, the air filter element is white when you take it out, and it looks like a new one, but in fact it will become dirty after a certain period of use. The very fine particles need to be filtered out, and they are directly used by the engine inside at thousands of times per minute. If the filter element has no filtering ability, the particles in the air will go into the engine as I just said.

If you don't use a fully functioning air filter for your engine. The wear of the engine cylinder will increase by 8 times, the piston wear will increase by 3 times, the piston ring wear will increase by 9 times, and the engine life will be reduced by about 2/3, or more than half, which is a super life loss.

2, Only change the engine oil without changing the filter

Not changing the air filter will make the engine sick. Not changing the filter when changing the oil will also make the engine sick. The reason is similar.

The machine filter is used to filter impurities in the engine oil to prevent these things from entering the moving parts and causing wear. If the filter element is not replaced for a long time, the filter element will be broken and fail, causing more serious engine wear. Moreover, not replacing the engine filter will slightly affect fuel consumption, because without the filtering function, there will be more impurities in the oil, and it will be more difficult for the engine to stir.

Therefore, during maintenance, the engine oil and filter must be replaced together.
